What to expect: At this chic and fun hotel, guests register at a pod, not a reception desk. Messages flash outside the front glass doors: “Smile,” “Eye-catching,” “You have arrived,” and “Your 15 minutes.” The color scheme is orange, pink, and purple, and Andy Warhol prints and other modern artwork are displayed throughout the hotel. Vactioners with a taste for the chic and the hip enjoy staying at the Helix.
