    Guestrooms are individually decorated, and many offer spectacular views of the formal gardens, Carriage House, San Francisco Bay, and Golden Gate Bridge. Fabrics and color schemes are meticulously hand picked, and fine furnishings are English and French, complemented with occasional Asian accents. Several rooms feature romantic oversized cushion window couches and intimate seating alcoves, high arched windows, and hand-stenciled borders. All but one boasts a wood-burning fireplace with marble mantels. Canopy feather beds, black-granite bathrooms, and whirlpool tubs add to the already-decadent settings.
