The painter Camille Pissarro was once a guest of this elegant hotel facing L'Opéra Garnier and the Musée du Louvre.
Inaugurated in 1855 at the behest of Napoleon III, the Hotel du Louvre became the first luxury hotel in France.
The 200 rooms at the hotel, many of which offer views of the Louvre, are decorated in rich hues and numerous styles.

Their views are grand: L'Opéra Garnier, the square of the Royal Palace, the Musée du Louvre, the Comédie Française, and the State Council.
Superior Room - The superior rooms feature one king-size or two twin beds; rooms can accommodate a maximum of three guests.

Brasserie du Louvre – This typical Parisian brasserie is open for a daily buffet breakfast (21 euros), lunch, and dinner. The brasserie offers large servings of traditional French dishes and seafood platters. There is also a flower-filled summer terrace, with excellent views of the Louvre.
Hotel Bar – Complemented by the rich decor of velvet armchairs signed by Olivier Gagnère and red and black curtains, this elegant, yet cozy bar is a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
