Villas of Grand Cypress - Room details

    This hotel features 146 guest villas ranging in size from one to four bedrooms. All villas offer dual telephones, a TV and VCR, private patios, and private entrances. Aside from the Club Suite, all accommodations also include fully equipped kitchens, living rooms, and dining rooms. A full selection of cable channels is available in all villas and suites, including HBO, the Disney Channel, and the Golf Channel; complimentary movie videos are available upon request.
  • Club Suite - These suites are a section of the two-, three-, and four-bedrooms villas that can be separated from the larger living area of those villas to create a private-entrance sleeping room. Similar to a junior suite, this villa has a private patio, a separate sitting room with a sleeper sofa, one king or two double beds, and a separate bathroom with a sunken tub and glass-enclosed shower. These suites can accommodate a maximum of four guests.
  • One-Bedroom Villa - These villas are a part of the two-bedroom single-story units with the Club Suite section blocked off and rented separately. The One-Bedroom Villas each consist of a large sleeping room with a king bed, which is connected to the living room and dining room. These villas include fully equipped kitchens, oversized bathrooms, and outside patios. A queen-size sleeper sofa is located in the living room. These villas can accommodate a maximum of four guests.
  • Two-Bedroom Villa - These villas consist of two master bedrooms, each with a choice of two double, two queen, or two king beds, which share a common living room, dining room, full kitchen, and private patio. Each bedroom has its own master bathroom and its own phone line and TV. Some units are single-story while others have two levels. Single-story units have two entrances: one for the common area and one directly accessing one of the bedrooms. Two-story townhouse units have one bedroom upstairs and the other downstairs. Two-Bedroom Villas can accommodate a maximum of eight guests.
  • Three-Bedroom Villa - These villas consists of one Club Suite and a townhouse that share a common entrance. All rooms in these villas share a living room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and an outside patio. Each bedroom features a choice of two double or two king beds, and each has its own master bathroom and its own phone line and TV. Some Three-Bedroom Villas are on ground level and some are two-story units. These villas can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests.
  • Four-Bedroom Villa - These villas consists of two Club Suites with private entrances and a townhouse with two bedrooms that share a common entrance. Two bedrooms are located upstairs and two are located downstairs in these villas, and each has its own bathroom, phone line, and TV. Guests in each bedroom can choose two king, two queen, two double, two full, or four single beds. All four bedrooms share a living room, a dining room, a full kitchen, and an outside patio. These spacious villas can accommodate a maximum of 16 guests.

  • Black Swan - Along with its exquisite culinary creations, this bi-level restaurant features impeccable service, and a relaxed atmosphere enhanced by soft pastels, pale woods, high-beamed ceilings, and soothing piano music. The Black Swan is bordered on two sides by a panoramic view of the ninth holes on the resort’s North and South golf courses.
  • The Club - This restaurant and sports bar is the resort's casual dining room, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week. The Club overlooks the lush green fairways of the North and South courses, providing a comfortable gathering place for after-golf get-togethers.
  • La Coquina - This refined dining room offers panoramic views of Lake Windsong’s bubbling fountains and preening swans. Open only for dinner and Sunday brunch, La Coquina specializes in New World cuisine.
  • Hemingways - This tropical, Key West–style restaurant is situated on a rock-grotto perch, overlooking the half-acre swimming pool and its waterfalls. Inspired by the free-spirited writer (who was also an avid fisherman and hunter), the restaurant features fresh seafood, steaks, and game in a relaxed atmosphere. Dinner is served nightly; a cigar lounge is located inside the restaurant.
  • Cascade - Overlooking Lake Windsong and surrounding a 35-foot bronze mermaid sculpture, this upscale dining room serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an peaceful, two-story, atrium-styled room.
  • White Horse Saloon - This saloon is a sports-lovers dream, complete with game time at the bar, Direct-TV hookup, and various large screen TVs. An innovative menu includes high-quality steaks, fresh seafood, and tender lamb chops. Beverages abound.
  • Palm Café and General Store - Located on the hotel’s lower level, this low-key cafe offers casual indoor and outdoor seating, and features a light menu for breakfast and lunch. The attached general store offers snacks, beverages, and ice cream.

Villas of Grand Cypress - Recreation information

    "The Villas of Grand Cypress offers a wealth of recreational activities to guests—including golf, tennis, and horseback riding—but one could argue that the main draw is golf. With 45 holes of Jack Nicklaus–designed links, the resort’s course consists of four connected courses, the newest which was inspired by the Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland. Instruction is available via the Grand Cypress Academy of Golf.

    The Grand Cypress Equestrian Center has outstanding facilities including a lighted, covered arena; jumping and dressage rings; professional instruction; riding trails; and a gift and tack shop. For its part, the Grand Cypress Racquet Club offers 12 championship tennis courts (five lighted for night play), two open-air racquetball courts, and a clubhouse with a pro shop. Professional instruction is available as well.

    Driving directions from Orlando International Airport: Take SR-528/Beeline Expwy heading west toward Tampa and area attractions. Follow it to I-4 and get onto I-4 heading west toward Tampa. Exit at Exit 68/Lake Buena Vista; turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp onto SR-535 heading north. Turn left at the second traffic light, continuing north on SR-535. Drive 1 mile north, past the entrance of the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, and follow signs to the resort. The entrance is on the right.
