An elegant buffet is offered at breakfast, as are menu items such as cereal and oatmeal, or French toast with bananas and orange-mascarpone cream. Lunch and dinner fare includes organic salads, pastas, and seafood. The open kitchen is jumping at dinnertime, when a four- or six-course tasting menu is also offered. During summer, Oak Street Beach, 0.5 miles north, and North Avenue Beach, 1.5 miles north, are popular for sunbathing and for swimming when lifeguards are on duty. Also in summer, beach volleyball courts are available for rental and pick-up games. Public tennis courts and a public golf course are both 4.5 miles northeast of the hotel.
