In summer, Oak Street Beach, about 1.5 miles north of the hotel, is popular for sunbathing and for swimming when lifeguards are on duty. Also in summer, beach volleyball courts are available. Public tennis courts and public golf courses are both 5.5 miles northeast of the hotel.
