Denver International Airport (DEN): Approximate driving time is 1 hour, 45 minutes and distance is 104 miles. Driving directions from DEN: Take Peña Blvd (the airport's main exit) to I-70 heading west (the boulevard merges into the highway). Take I-70 for 85 miles west to Frisco (Exit 203), and turn left (south) onto Hwy 9. Take Hwy 9 south 9 miles to historic Breckenridge, where it becomes Main St. Once in town, turn right onto North Park Ave, and then turn onto Mountain Thunder Dr. The sign for Mountain Thunder Lodge is visible in a forested area; pull into the lodge’s circular drive to check into the hotel.
